Factory guard shot dead by robbers

KARACHI: A factory guard was shot dead by robbers over putting up resistance in Shah Latif Town on Thursday, police said.
They added that factory employees had drawn cash from somewhere in Bilal Colony and were on their way to the factory in Landhi when three suspected robbers intercepted them. They snatched the cash from 63-year-old security guard Syed Jalal Mian. However when he put up resistance, the robbers shot him dead.
‘Two hit men held’
The Sharifabad police on Thursday claimed to have arrested two alleged hit men.
“The police arrested targeted killers Rizwan Qureshi and Moonis,” said Central SSP Capt Chaudhry Asad Ali.
Moonis was a former inspector of the excise police, added the officer.
