Dar to finalise budget’s outline next week

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will convene a meeting next week to finalise the outline of budget 2015-16.
Dar, who is currently attending International Monetary Fund (IMF) talks in Dubai, issued instructions to all concerned departments and officials to complete the preparations for the budget, which would be presented in the first week of June.
According to a source in the finance ministry, “A draft framework, envisaging details about new taxation measures, will be discussed during the meeting with IMF.”
