A dream of peace

THE world has already witnessed the devastations and ravages of the two world wars wherein millions of people fell victim to thw whims of some chauvinist individuals. Even today the world is burning in the hell-fire of war.

The UN, tasked to cultivate peace among all nations, has become a tool in the hands of the powerful.

Another bitter truth is that most Muslim states are embroiled in fratricide.

They are killing their own brothers. Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Pakistan are entangled in a web of gruesome terror. Now it’s the UN’s duty to check the spread of terror and hatred and protect the weak. People of all faiths and cultures must join hands to defeat terrorism and foster peace.
