LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court on Thursday extended physical remand of Mustafa Kanju, son of former state minister for foreign affairs Siddique Kanju, for further three days for his involvement in the murder of student Zain.
The South Cantonment police produced Kanju before the court after completion of his first judicial remand of 10 days. The investigators sought to extend the remand to complete the investigation.
Kanju was arrested by the police for allegedly killing a grade-nine student, Zain, and injuring another Hasnain in Cavalry Ground.
The court heard the prosecution and extended remand.
