Khanabadosh Writers Cafe opensArchive
HYDERABAD: The Khanabadosh Writers Cafe established on the premises of the Sindh culture department’s Sindh Museum was formally opened on Sunday evening for providing some private space to writers, poets, intellectuals and creative minds.
The opening ceremony was followed by a musical night and mushaira where Rubina Abro presented her poetry.
The cafe initiative was taken by Amar Sindhu, writer, teacher in Sindh University and woman rights activist. She said the basic idea was to carve out some space for creative minds who could spend time there. She said that in one’s life, dreams always mattered and it was in fact dreams that were translated into reality, she said.
Dr Arfana Mallah, a writer and SU teacher, said there used to be so many spaces previously which were now non-existent in this city.
