MANY news channels show funny clips taken from the Internet. I suggest to our TV news channels to inform the viewers about the latest progress of development projects instead of showing outdated video clips, mostly funny ones.
Keeping the viewers informed about important academic knowledge will help youth in their respective areas of study. One example is of ‘decoding DNA sequence’.
Many universities ask students to do projects on it but the fact is that even most lecturers and professors hardly know anything about it.
Recently, Oxford University made an advance in identifying DNA sequence which may result in curing many diseases, including cancer, epilepsy, etc.
As human beings we should appreciate the efforts of scientists. The least we can do is to stay informed.
