THE human resources manager often asks the candidates their salary during the interview. Most HR managers from multi-national companies stretch this to the next level by saying that ‘if you don’t tell us your current salary, we will not process your application’.
Asking one’s salary is none of a stranger’s business. I believe this HR question should be declared illegal and unethical by private and public companies at government and corporate levels.
