Muggers kill woman upon resistance

KARACHI: A woman was shot dead by armed robbers when she resisted a street crime bid in Shah Faisal Colony on Wednesday.
Officials said that was killed in Shah Faisal Colony-3 near Hafeeza mosque.
Area SHO Ejaz Khan said that armed muggers tried to snatch Amna Qasim’s cellphone, killed her when she put up resistance and escaped. The victim was married.
Two shot dead upon resistance Mohammed Murad, 25, was killed by robbers upon resistance near Ghazi Abbas roundabout within the remit of the Pakistan Bazaar police station.
In another incident, a 28-year-old man, Shakir, was gunned down in Surjani Town when he resisted a robbery bid.
The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
