Robbers loot Rs3.6m in five strikes

LAHORE: Robbers struck five times in the city on Sunday and made off with cash, jewellery and valuables worth Rs3.6 million.

Three armed men barged into the house of Aqeel in Baghbanpura, held his family hostage and looted cash, jewellery and valuables worth Rs0.8m.

Two dacoits stormed into Rana Akhtar’s house in Shera Kot and plundered Rs0.8m cash and fled.

Four bandits barged into the house of Ikram Bukhari in Manga Mandi and held the family hostage at gunpoint. They thrashed Bukhari for resistance and fled after collecting Rs0.8m cash.

Two armed men entered the house of Rehan in Factory Area and gathered cash and jewellery worth Rs0.7m and escaped with the booty.




Three armed men stormed into Babar’s house in Hadyara and looted cash and jewellery worth Rs0.5m.
