Students protest at IUB exam controller’s office

BAHAWALPUR: Government Sadiq Egerton College students on Monday protested against the of Islamia University (IUB) examination branch for delay in holding exams and announcing results, leaving them unable to apply for postgraduate classes.

The BSc students of the college assembled in front of the IUB examination controller office and raised slogans in support of their demand.

According to demonstrators, the IUB examination branch did not announce exam date-sheets in accordance with the schedule of the each annual term while the results were also announced behind the schedule.

They stated that due to the flawed schedule of examinations and results, they could not apply for admission to postgraduate classes.




They demanded a uniform policy regarding the exam schedule and announcement of results on time so that they could apply for the next classes.
