Villagers tackle child abuse suspect

KASUR: Scores of people tried to capture a suspect of the serial child abuse case in Hussain Khanwala on Wednesday. The suspect, also former employ of the Lahore High Court, is on interim bail till Aug 31.

On Wednesday, when he arrived in the village, he exchanged words with the people who later besieged his house. The suspect took shelter in another house and called 15 emergency police. Soon arrived the police that took him to a safe place.

DIES: A woman died after taking toxic tea on Wednesday at village Hussna.

Family members said Shamim Bibi consumed tea, probably spiked with poison of a lizard that fell into the tea. She died on her way to hospital.
