PTI celebrates another victory

LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) continued its celebrations on Wednesday as it got third decision in a row in its favour, and this time by the Multan election tribunal against the PML-N candidate.
The PTI leaders, office-bearers and supporters, including women, expressed their jubilation by dancing on drum beats and party songs at Lalik Chowk and stairs of the Punjab Assembly and other places.
Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed and party MPAs chanted slogans “Go Nawaz Go”, “PML-N’s rigging not acceptable”, “Hat-trick Hat-trick” and “Kaun Bachaey ga Pakistan -- Imran Khan Imran Khan”. They also distributed sweets among Punjab Assembly employees and journalists.
Mr Rasheed said the worst-ever rigging in general elections had been exposed vividly and the PML-N had no moral grounds to stay in power.
He said the Election Commission was also bound to terminate the four provincial members for their involvement in the rigging or negligence in stopping rigging.
“The ECP’s four provincial members should resign voluntarily otherwise the PTI will be compelled to come out on roads,” he said. he said.
