Police, Rangers told to ensure foolproof security on EidArchive
KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has directed the provincial police chief and Rangers director general to ensure foolproof security on the occasion of Eidul Azha across the province.
He also directed the chief secretary, all commissioners, deputy commissioners and local government authorities, including the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation and Karachi Water and Sewerage Board, to ensure cleanliness, uninterrupted and efficient water supply and drainage.
He also stressed upon the K-Electric and all power utilities in Sindh to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the Eid days.
Taking notice of low gas pressure that is causing hardship for domestic consumers, the CM directed the authority concerned to maintain the the required gas pressure for domestic usage.
He said that the sanctity of this month must be maintained and warned the authorities that any loophole in the security would not be tolerated. He asked all law enforcement agencies to expand and activate their intelligence network and increased patrolling around all mosques and imambargahs.
