PSO seeks 7 LNG cargoes for Jan-Feb deliveryArchive
DUBAI: Pakistan State Oil launched a tender to buy seven cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) with a capacity of 140,185 cubic metres each over January and February next year.
Deliveries must be made at the Port Qasim terminal in three day loading windows starting on Jan 10, 2016, and ending on Feb 25, 2015, PSO said in tender documents on its website. The tender will close on Dec 15 and offers will remain valid until Dec 25, it said.

Pakistan started to import LNG for the first time this year. Weakening demand and rising supply since early 2014 in Asia, the world’s biggest LNG-consuming region, has increasingly led to the sale of surplus cargoes on spot markets via tenders.
