Hissam and handicap take team into final

LAHORE: Five goals by Hissam Ali Hyder saw Master Paints/Newage edge past Army Remounts 5½-5 on Thursday and reach the main final of the Diamond Paints Pakistan Polo Cup.

This tournament is the calendar event of the Pakistan Polo Association (PPA) and is being organised by the Lahore Polo Club (LPC) and will culminate with the finals on Sunday.

And Master paints/Newage booked their place courtesy their half-goal handicap after both teams cancelled out each other in terms of goals.

While Hissam scored all the goals for the winners, Major General Isfandiyar Khan Pataudi and Major Haseeb Minhas scored a brace each and Major Omer Minhas added the other goal for Army Remounts.
