World T20 trophy comes to LahoreArchive
LAHORE: The ICC World Twenty20 trophy was displayed at the Bagh-i-Jinnah Cricket ground by Pakistan women’s team captain Sana Mir.
After the unveiling, the trophy was taken to the Kinnaird College University before it was finally exposed at the Gaddafi Stadium.
It deserve a notice that World T20 trophy reached here from Peshawar where ODI skipper Azhar Ali unveiled it at the terror-hit Army Public School on Monday. Now the trophy will move to Bangladesh via Dubai.
The trophy started its journey from Mumbai on Dec 12 and after visiting all the 12 participating countries of the world T20, it will end its journey in New Delhi on Feb 1.
The mega event will be held at eight different cities of India from March 8 to April 3.
PCB’s executive committee chairman Najam Sethi, chief operating officer Subhan Ahmad and members of the Gymkhana Cricket Ground were present at the Bagh-i-Jinnah.
