City School netball teams off to Australia

KARACHI: Two junior girls netball teams of The City School Southern Region will leave for Melbourne, Australia on Sunday to participate in the Waverley International Schools Netball Championship, to be held there from July 4-7, Mudassar Arain, president of the Pakistan Netball Federation announced.

Teams of participating countries in the event include Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore and Papu New Gunea.

Team coach will be Asiya Siddiqua while Intisar Haider will be the manager, Erfa Iftikhar assistant manager and Chef Me Mission will be Mudassar Razak Arain.




Squad: Ayesha Ahmed, Safa Sohail, Ilsa Sahaer, Zahara Azeem, Laiba Zulfiqar, Zoya Khan, Ghaniya Azhar, Ujala Jamali, Izza Fasial, Alishba Naim, Fardeem Anum, Yumna Sultani, Shehzeen Fatima, Maryam Ahmed, Fatimah Riaz, Arshiya Jumani, Insia Fazal, Zeerak, Deena Zahid, Eman Ahmed.
