International passengers will have to provide COVID-19 test results upon arrival: CAAArchive
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) — in an effort to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus — has made it compulsory for all international passengers arriving in the country to provide a copy of the test result for COVID-19.
The number of coronavirus cases in the country rose to 237 on Tuesday as Prime Minister Imran urged the nation to prepare for an epidemic.
According to a notification issued by the authority on March 17, a copy of which is available with Dawn.com, all passengers will be required to provide a copy of the test results conducted 24 hours prior to boarding the flight. The measure will go into effect from March 21.
