Street crime incident: Cash returned to robbed Chinese citizenPakistan
LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Amin Wains says that the crime graph has dropped significantly due to the successful launch of beat system in the provincial capital.
While handing over Rs300,000 cash to a Chinese citizen who was robbed in a street crime incident, he on Tuesday appreciated the performance of the investigation wing of police for arresting the criminals involved in the incident.
Mr Wains said the arrested criminals, identified as Amir and Shafiq, had also robbed many local citizens in various incidents.
He further said the Lahore police had arrested 3,034 criminals during the last eight months and recovered from their possession looted money worth over Rs350 million.
