PM safe while democracy prevails: PPP leaderPakistan
LAHORE: Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Khurshid Shah has said that there is no threat to the prime minister till parliament and democracy are intact. He was commenting on the prime minister’s recent statement in which the latter said some people wanted to oust him.
Addressing a national conference on Operation Zarb-i-Azb held by the Pakistan Citizens’ Movement here on Wednesday, the PPP leader said that if people were praising the army chief the politicians should feel happy because he was discharging his professional duties.

Mr Shah said PPP was against ‘selective accountability’.
“PPP is against corruption but wants action against all those involved without any discrimination,” he said.
Estranged PPP workers Nahid Khan and Safdar Abbasi, said both Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto had been killed during military regimes.
