Malaysian national deportedPakistan
RAWALPINDI: A Malaysian national was deported by the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) immigration officials after he was unable to produce a visa for Pakistan upon his arrival at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport.
The passenger, who has been identified as M. Rizal bin Arshad, arrived from Dubai on the Emirates Airlines flight EK-612, and was sent back to Dubai on the airline’s next flight – EK-613 – because he did not possess a visa to enter Pakistan.
A senior immigration official from FIA said the passenger, a Malaysian national, was not allowed to leave the airport because he did not have a Pakistani visa, and was deported on the same flight.
The federal government has already directed FIA immigration officials that any individual with unverified documents or without a Pakistani visa would be deported upon arrival at any Pakistani airport.
