‘PM Modi Is A Rockstar, Rahul Gandhi Is Harming The Country’: Kiren Rijiju At News18 Chaupal
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, participating in News18 Chaupal, alleged that the former Congress president provokes the people during his yatra.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has hit out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who is now leading the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’, for harming the country. Speaking at the inaugural event of News18 India Chaupal, the Minister of Earth Sciences criticised former Congress president for provoking people during his yatra.

News 18 Chaupal is a special programme where the politicians and influential personalities from different fields share their perspectives on various issues of national importance.

Minister Rijiju praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his effort to take the country forward while calling him a ‘Rockstar’.

The Minister of Earth Sciences highlighted a shift in the perception towards India by the global leaders, crediting Prime Minister Modi for the transformation. Rijiju praised PM Modi’s leadership, labelling him a “rockstar” for driving the country’s growth towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.

“The way the world looks at India has changed today and this has happened because of PM Modi. We are the fastest growing economy today. India will become a developed country by the year 2047. PM Modi is taking the country forward. He is a rockstar,” the Union Minister said.

He also criticised Rahul Gandhi, stating that he is detrimental to the nation and lacks seriousness as a leader. Criticising the Opposition alliance, INDIA bloc, he said, “If they do or say anything against the country then we will definitely respond.”

Kiren Rijiju accused Rahul Gandhi of travelling with the sole purpose of harming the country through provocative actions. He stated that speaking against the country abroad, spreading confusion, or making false claims about China and security are considered criminal. Questioning Rahul Gandhi’s commitment as a parliamentarian, Kiren Rijiju said, “When the Budget session is going on he is touring the country.”

Kiren Rijiju also took a jibe at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The Union Minister criticised Kejriwal, stating he hadn’t seen a more corrupt individual and questioned how anyone could tolerate him. Rijiju accused Kejriwal of spreading lies when facing the media.
