Candidates can apply for the UP Sub Inspector and Assistant Sub Inspector vacancies via the official website of UPPRPB at uppbpb.gov.in

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) will close the online registration process for the recruitment of State Sub Inspector (SI) and Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) on January 31, 2024. Interested candidates can apply through the official website of UPPRPB at uppbpb.gov.in.

Earlier the last date to submit the application form was January 28, 2024. However, the board extended the deadline till January 31. In addition, the fee payment can be done by candidates till February 1, 2024. Once the registration process closes, the board will not extend the date further. So, candidates are advised to fill in the application before the last date.

Through this recruitment drive, the UPPRPB aims to fill a total of 921 Sub Inspector and Assistant Sub Inspector vacancies. Out of these, 449 positions for ASI (clerk), 268 openings for the position of SI (confidential), and the remaining 204 vacancies are designated for ASI (accounts).

Eligible candidates will be selected through a written exam, a document verification round, and a physical test. The UP Police SI and ASI written exam will be administered for 2.5 hours. It will be held for 400 marks and will have 200 questions.

Step 1: Go to the official website of UPPRPB at uppbpb.gov.in.

Step 2: Search and click on the SI and ASI recruitment link that is on the homepage.

Step 3: Then complete the registration process to generate a login ID.

Step 4: Following which, log in using the new credentials and fill out the application form as directed.

Step 5: Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.

Step 6: Crosscheck all the details and submit the application form.

While applying for the Uttar Pradesh Sub Inspector and Assistant Sub Inspector vacancies, candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 400.
