Alcatel appoints United Mobile as second official distributor in Pakistan

Alcatel has appointed United Mobile (UM) as the second official distributor of its smartphones in Pakistan. These phones will now be available with UM warranty.
Speaking at a press conference, Nauman Durrani, General Manager of Alcatel in Middle East, Pakistan and Egypt said that Pakistan is a high growth market with 3G and 4G penetration and lots of potential.
“Alcatel, is an international brand and one of the largest mobile supplier with 23 R&D facilities and 21 factories across the globe.
"We are super excited to start the operations in Pakistan. We see Pakistan as a high growth market and with 3G and 4G penetration our aim would be to connect the Pakistanis with the best in class innovative mobile devices at affordable prices,” said Durrani.
The smartphone company operates in 170 countries around the globe.
