Kawasaki has launched the 2021 Ninja ZX-10R in India at Rs 14.99 Lakh (ex-showroom). The bike is available in 2 colours including Lime Green and Flate Ebony Type 2.
At its heart, the new ZX-10R is powered by a 998 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke In-Line four engine that outputs 203PS power (With Ram Air – 213PS). It features finger follower valve actuation designed by Kawasaki’s WorldSuperbike engineer. Also there is DLC (Diamond-like Carbon coating) on finger follower, electronic throttle valves, new air-cooled oil cooler based on feedback from Kawasaki’s World SBK race machine, close-ratio transmission and an updated Exhaust system.
In its new version the motorcycle also comes with an elaborate electronic suite that includes, TFT Colour Instrumentation, smartphone connectivity via RIDEOLOGY, electronic cruise control, 5 levels of traction control, launch control mode, cornering management function, power Modes (Full/Middle/Low), integrated Riding Modes (Sport/Road/Rain/Rider (Manual)), engine brake control, ABS, Öhlins Electronic Steering Damper, and Quick Shifter.

The motorcycle is built on an Aluminium Twin-spar frame with Aluminium swingarm. It is suspended with the help of advanced Showa BFF (Balance Free Front Fork) and horizontal Back-link Rear Suspension with Showa BFRC lite (Balance Free Rear Cushion). Braking duties are handled by, High performance Brembo brakes system (Brembo M50 monobloc callipers). It also gets All LED lighting (The LED headlights use direct projection units from Mitsubishi).
