Heavy rain lashed Bengaluru on Monday ,leaving several areas and roads in the capital city of Karnataka waterlogged. Some underpasses were flooded with knee-deep water. Several areas, including Malleswaram, Shantinagar, Mysore Bank, and Town Hall witnessed heavy downpours. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday predicted that Coastal and South Interior Karnataka is likely to witness heavy rainfall between November 6 and 8.
As rainfall took over the city, many took to social media and shared videos and images showcasing the havoc that it
created. In the videos, people can be seen dragging their vehicles in knee-deep waters.

Meanwhile, earlier, jokes and memes swamped the micro-blogging haven of ‘X’ after intense rainfall hit the city. One user couldn’t resist commenting, “Spice Garden is back with Water Sports activities…Side jump, long jump, swimming, pulling vehicle, pushing vehicle, guessing potholes, etc.” Another person remarked, “It’s time to learn how to swim,” while a third user added a dash of sarcasm, “After free bus rides, time for free boat rides, water logging taxes?”
