When Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor’s Shoot Left His GF Rosa Catalano ANGRY: ‘Why Are They..’ | Throwback
Celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani opened up about how Saif Ali Khan's then-girlfriend Rosa Catalano was upset about his photoshoot with Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Back in 2005, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan met for the first time for a magazine cover photoshoot. At that time, Saif was in a relationship with Rosa Catalano. Dabboo Ratnani, who shot the cover, recently revealed that his then-girlfriend was quite upset about the photoshoot.

Last year, the celebrity photographer in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, revealed that, Rosa ‘freaking out’ when the photoshoot was taking place. “There was a good chemistry. Saif ki wo time mei jo girlfriend thi, wo bahut gusse mein ho gayi thi (Saif’s then-girlfriend was very angry). She was there at the shoot. She was like, ‘What is this shoot? Why are they shooting together? They’re not doing a film together right now. Ye kyun shoot ho raha hai? (Why is this shoot happening).’ It was a magazine cover shoot. So I remember she was freaking out.”

Dabboo also shared that later on, he enlarged, framed, and gifted the photos to Saif and Kareena when they got together years later. He even reminded them that’s where it all began.

Saif Ali Khan was married to Amrita Singh in October 1991 but they separated in 2004. Post his divorce he started dating Rosa who was seen in films like Shadow (2009), Chamku (2008), and Shaurya (2008). It was in 2008, when Saif and Kareena fell for each other on the sets of Tashan, and then the two got married in 2012.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan have been going strong ever since. They’re parents to Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan aka Jeh.

On the work front, Saif Ali Khan will be seen in Devara. Marking his first Telugu film, Saif will be seen sharing the screen with Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor. The first glimpse of the film was released on Monday.

Devara is set against the coastal lands and is helmed by Koratala Siva. Just like RRR, this Telugu movie will reportedly have high-octane action sequences that are expected to blow away the minds of the audience. As per reports, Devara is being made on a huge budget. The makers are reportedly spending a whopping Rs 140 crore on its VFX. The rumour mill is rife that the makers are also spending 33 per cent of the movie’s original budget on special effects.
