Honda says it will inform owners and replace damaged parts for free.
New Delhi: After Nokia, its automobile giant Honda that’s recalling its products. Honda's Civic is recalled.
Honda has decided to recall over 1.8 lakh Honda Civics manufactured between March 24, 2005, and February 8, 2007 in the US.
Honda says it needs to fix a wheel bearing seal that could be faulty and lead to a wheel falling off.
The company says it has received two complaints, but no injuries have been reported. Honda says it will inform owners and replace damaged parts for free.
Over twenty-two thousand Honda civics have been sold in India since the car was launched last July.
But there’s no word from the company yet on whether civics sold in India have the same problem.
