At just 24 years and 215 days old, Gill is now the youngest to reach the 3000 IPL runs milestone going ahead with the likes of Virat Kohli, Sanju Samson and others to take the record for himself.

The Titans captain has also become the fourth fastest ever to reach 3000 runs in the tournament as well. He joins two legendary names in the IPL David Warner and Faf du Plessis to find himself at the fourth spot in the milestone.

The opening batter has been a vital cog in GT’s success in the past few seasons where they managed to reach consecutive finals and secure the title in their first season in 2022. Last year was his best performance with the bat as he won the orange cap for scoring the most runs in the season with a whopping tally of 890 runs for the franchise.
