As far as Rohit is concerned, he seems to be in fine touch with the bat. Currently, he is the third-highest run-scorer with 297 runs coming in seven games. In the previous game against rivals, Chennai Super Kings, he was able to bring up his second IPL century which went in vain as CSK took home the win.

Batting-wise, Rohit has impressed as he continues to provide starts consistently with the bat and will be a positive sign for the Indian team as the T20 World Cup 2024 approaches.

Rohit Sharma Hits the Most Sixes in MI’s History

Rohit is very likely the skipper and will look to lead the side to their second T20 World Cup title, one that has eluded the Indian team since the inaugural edition in 2007 under the leadership of MS Dhoni.

The Indian opening batter also went past his former teammate and now batting coach with MI, Kieron Pollard to become the batter with the most maximums for the franchise.

In the game against PBKS, Rohit struck three sixes to help him set a new record. He will be looking to continue this form through the tournament and the T20 World Cup 2024 as well.
