There is never a lack of banter when Rohit Sharma is around. And he proved it recently, as the MI batter took a sly and subtle jab at SRH’s Mayank Agarwal in practice ahead of their encounter today in Hyderabad.
Both teams arrived yesterday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium ahead of their fixture today, to prepare for their clash as both MI and SRH are in search of their first victory.

At the venue, former Indian teammates Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal were spotted sharing a moment, when the Indian skipper playfully blew a flying kiss to Agarwal, calling back to the occurrence in SRH’s game against KKR in their season opener.

Rana, who was denied Agarwal’s wicket in the second over due to a DRS, returned just before the conclusion of the Powerplay to draw first blood for KKR.
He got rid of the SRH opener with a 128.1kph bouncer, and upon doing so, gave the departing Agarwal a stare and a flying kiss before the latter responded with a stare of his own.

The gesture though landed Rana in trouble later, as the 22-year-old pacer was punished for two offences during the match.
“Rana committed two Level 1 offences under Article 2.5 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct. He was fined 10 percent and 50 percent of his match fees for the two respective offences. Rana admitted to the two offences and accepted the Match Referee’s sanction. For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the Match Referee’s decision is final and binding,” read a statement from IPL.
In the end, Rana was fined a total of 60 per cent of his match fee for his offences.
