After suffering a humiliating defeat by an innings and 47 runs against England in the series opener played at Multan Cricket Stadium last week, Pakistan will face the Ben Stokes-led side in the second Test at the same venue from Tuesday (October 15) onwards. Despite posting a total of 556 runs in the first innings, Pakistan lost the first Test by an innings margin, and as a result of the team’s poor show Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Naseem Shah were dropped from the squads for the last two matches on Sunday (October 13).
The hosts would like to come up with a big show in the second match and beat England to level the series.
