Candidates can apply online for undergraduate (BA LLB (Honours) and B. Com LLB (Honours)) and postgraduate (LLM) law programmes at NLU Delhi via the official website -- nationallawuniversitydelhi.in

The registration window for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025 opened on August 1, 2024. Candidates can apply online for undergraduate (BA LLB (Honours) and B. Com LLB (Honours)) and postgraduate (LLM) law programmes at the National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) via the official website. The application deadline is November 18, 2024. The AILET exam will be held on December 8, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM in offline mode (OMR sheet-based).

The exam will be conducted in offline mode and will include sections on English, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning. There will be a total of 150 questions. Candidates will be rewarded with a mark for every correct answer. 0.25 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The duration of the examination is two hours.

AILET 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed their class 12 exams with a minimum of 45 per cent from a recognized institute. For the SC, ST, PwD candidates, the minimum score is 40 per cent. Students who are appearing for their class 12 exams are also eligible to appear for the exam.

AILET 2025: Steps to register

Step 1: Go to nationallawuniversitydelhi.in

Step 2: Register as a New User by providing the necessary information like name, email ID and mobile number.

Step 3: Login to your now-created account

Step 4: Fill Out the Application Form by providing personal, academic and contact details.

Step 5: Upload scanned copies of your passport-sized photograph, signature and any other required documents.

Step 6: Pay the application fee and submit it

Step 7: Take a printout or screenshot of it for future reference

AILET 2025: Application fee

To apply for AILET 2025, candidates must complete the online application form and pay the required fee of Rs 3500 for General category candidates and Rs 1500 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. BPL candidates from SC and ST categories are exempted from the fee.

As per the official website, AILET-2025 will be conducted in Bengaluru, Bilaspur, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Kota, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, Siliguri, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi, Visakhapatnam.

For the AILET 2025, the seat allocations are specified as follows — 110 seats are offered for the BA LLB programme, with an additional 13 seats available under the supernumerary quota for FN, OCI, PIO candidates. The B.Com LLB programme has 50 seats, including 10 extra seats for FN, OCI, PIO candidates. The LLM programme has 70 seats.
