The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has revised the board exam 2024 date sheet. The class 10 Tibetan paper which was scheduled to be conducted on March 4 will now be held on February 23. The class 10 Retail paper which was to be conducted on February 16 has now been scheduled for February 28. The class 12 Fashion Studies exam will be held on March 21. It was earlier slated to be held on March 11. The revised timetable can be checked on the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.
CBSE Board Exam 2024: How to Check Revised Timetable
Step 1: Go to the official website at cbse.gov.in and go to the main exam website.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the “Examination” section or tab.
Step 3: Search for a link ‘CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2024’ or ‘CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2024’
Step 4: Click on the desired link. The date sheet will appear in PDF format.
Step 5: Make a note of the dates or download the date sheet.
The CBSE board exams 2024 will begin on February 15. The exam will be held in a single shift every day starting from 10.30 am up to 1.30 pm. The board exams will be held for a span of 55 days. The class 10 board exams will conclude on March 13 and the class 12 exams will end on April 2.
The class 10 English exam will be held on Feb 26, the science exam on Mar 2, social science on Mar 7, and math on Mar 11. For class 12, the accountancy exam will be held on Mar 23, pol sc on Mar 22, economics on Mar 18, and history on Mar 28. The exam will end on April 2 with computer science and information technology.
The CBSE has also eliminated specialised answer books previously utilised in class 12 Accountancy exam. This will remove the tables-inclusive answer books that were given to candidates earlier. “It is informed that from Board Examination, 2024 CBSE based on feedback received from stakeholders has decided to do away with the Answer Books wherein tables were provided in the subject of Accountancy. From Examinations-2024, normal lines Answer Books as provided in other subjects in Class 12 will be provided in Accountancy subject also,” the official notification reads.
