IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Day Guidelines
Though the duration of the prelims examination is one hour, candidates may be required to be at the venue for about two hours or more including the time required for completion of various formalities such as verification and collection of various requisite documents, logging in, giving of instructions etc.
As per the official notice, the call letter will not be collected at the examination venue. However, it will be duly authenticated/stamped by the exam centre staff. Candidates will need to retain the call letter along with a copy of the ID proof safely. Furthermore, they need to bring one additional photograph (same as pasted by the candidate on the call letter) along with the call letter. Those reporting without a photograph pasted on the call letter or without one additional photograph will not be allowed to appear for the exam. The IBPS has advised candidates to retain about eight copies of the same photograph which is uploaded at the time of application as these would be needed for further stages of the selection process.
IBPS Clerk Prelims 2024 Exam Pattern
The IBPS Prelims exam 2024 will feature objective-type questions that carry 100 marks. They will be categorised into three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. Each candidate will have 60 minutes to solve the paper. They are expected to qualify in all three sections as per the prescribed cut-off marks determined in each test. Candidates must secure a minimum score for each section to be shortlisted for the main examination.
