JEE Counselling Ends: Students Prepare For Final Admission To IITs, NITs And IIITs
Education expert Amit Ahuja said that the reporting dates for admission to IIT are being released on the website of each IIT.

After the completion of JEE counselling for IITs, NITs, and Triple ITs in the country, students are now showing eagerness to get admission to their allotted colleges. Students are gathering information for final admission on the websites of the allotted colleges. Meanwhile, the students who have been allotted IITs after JEE counselling will now have to get complete information about the remaining college fees and documents required for admission on the website of the allotted IIT.

The reporting process for final admission to IITs begins:

Education expert Amit Ahuja said that the reporting dates for admission to IITs are being released on the website of each IIT. Students are advised to read the information given on the website of the allotted IIT carefully because each IIT has different dates for reporting, orientation, and the start of classes. Students can complete their registration process by going to the admission link in the information given on the IIT website. Apart from this, students allotted to NIT-Triple IT will have to first deposit the partial admission fee between July 24 and 26.

Formalities have to be completed for final admission:

Education expert Amit Ahuja further said that the partial admission fee has been fixed at Rs 45,000 for general, OBC, and EWS and Rs 20,000 for SC-ST. Students can be admitted to colleges of the NIT system allotted in JEE counselling only by paying a partial admission fee. Students who are satisfied with their allotted college through the NIT system will have to complete the formalities for final admission in NIT, Triple IT. Students will have to get information about this from the website of the allotted NIT, Triple IT. The seat acceptance fee deposited by the students during counselling will be adjusted to the remaining college fees during their admission.

Expert Amit Ahuja also said that the first semester studies will be held in IITs between July 24 and August 19. First of all, the first semester of studies will start at IIT Delhi on July 22. After this, the first semester studies will start in IIT Guwahati from July 25, Indore from July 26, Bombay, Hyderabad, Rupnagar from July 29, IIT Kanpur, BHU, Bhilai from July 30, Jodhpur, Palakkad from July 31, Madras, Bhubaneshwar, Tirupati from August 1, Patna from August 2, IET Roorkee from August 3, Dhanbad from August 4, IIT Kharagpur, Dharwad, Mandi from August 5, Jammu, Goa from August 7, and lastly, the first semester studies will start in IIT Gandhinagar on August 19.
