Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2024: In 2023, as many as 74.67 per cent of students passed the class 12 exam. This year, the pass percentage stands at 81.15 per cent.

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEEB) has announced the results for the 2nd Pre-University Certificate (PUC) exam. The Karnataka 2nd PUC results can be accessed from the official websites such as karnataka.gov.in, pue.kar.nic.in, karresults.nic.in, and kseeb.kar.nic.in. About 6,98,000 students appeared for the exam. Out of the total, 5,52,690 students have passed this year taking the pass percentage to 81.15 per cent.

To pass the exam, students are required to score a minimum of 33 per cent marks. Those who fail to meet this requirement may be granted grace marks of up to 5 per cent to enable their promotion by a small margin. However, students who still fall short of the passing threshold will need to take compartment examinations.

Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2024: Pass Percentage Over The Years

In the previous year, the pass rate for the exam in 2023 was notable, with as many as 74.67 per cent of students successfully clearing it. Among male students, the pass percentage stood at 69.05 per cent, whereas among female students, it was notably higher at 80.25 per cent.

In 2022, the overall pass percentage was 61.88 per cent. Out of the 6,83,563 students who appeared for the exam, a total of 4,22,966 students passed. Among regular students, the pass rate was notably higher at 67.14 per cent. However, for private candidates, the pass percentage was significantly lower at 26.75 per cent.

In 2021, a remarkable achievement was recorded as 6,66,497 students appeared for the exam, and the board reported a remarkable 100 per cent pass percentage. In 2020, the pass percentage was 69.20 per cent, with girls outperforming boys at 68.73 per cent and 54.73 per cent, respectively.

In 2019, out of 6,88,145 students who appeared for the exam, the pass percentage was 68.2 per cent for girls and 55 per cent for boys.

Step 1: Visit the official websites of Karnataka board at karnataka.gov.in, pue.kar.nic.in, karresults.nic.in, and kseeb.kar.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, search for and click on the result link available.

Step 3: A new page will appear, where candidates need to log in using their credentials.

Step 4: Once done, submit and the Karnataka 2nd PUC Result will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Save a copy of the result and print out a hardcopy for future use.

Meanwhile, the KSEEB conducted the 2nd PU exam on March 1. The exams commenced with Kannada and Arabic papers and culminated with Hindi papers on March 22. It was conducted for a total of three hours, from 10:15 am to 1:30 pm, for writing first language and other optional subjects with 15 minutes of reading time. However, for writing second and third language subjects, 2 hours and 45 minutes were allotted to students.
