Mumbai University UG Admission 2024 First Merit List to Be Released Today

The University of Mumbai (MU) will publish the first merit list for undergraduate (UG) admissions for the academic year 2024–25 today, June 13. As per the MU admission 2024 schedule, the university merit list will be published by 5 PM on the official website—muugadmission.samarth.edu.in. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 board exam and have registered for the University of Mumbai admission counselling process will be able to check the seat allotment list using their login credentials generated during registration.

It is important to note that those candidates who have been allotted a seat in the MU UG admission 2024 first round will have to complete the document verification process between June 14 and June 20. In addition to that, they will also have to pay the seat acceptance fees and submit an undertaking form with the required documents.

Since pre-admission online registration began on May 25, a total of 2,50,453 students have applied online. The University of Mumbai (MU) has received 8,70,495 applications for various courses, including full-time, part-time and online programs at undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and doctoral levels in diverse disciplines.

Mumbai University UG Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Diploma: Should have cleared Class 10 from a recognised board.

BCom and BA: Should have cleared Class 10+2 examination from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45 per cent marks and 40 per cent marks for the reserved category.

BA Library Science and BEd: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50 per cent marks from a recognised university.

BSc: Should have cleared Class 10+2 examination from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45 per cent marks and 40 per cent marks for the reserved category.

BFA: Should have cleared the Class 10+2 examination from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent marks and 45 per cent marks for the reserved category.

BPA: Should have cleared the Class 10+2 examination from a recognised board.

BA and MA Pali Integrated: Must have completed Class 10 or a 3-year diploma from an approved institute.

Mumbai University UG First Merit List 2024: How to Check

Step 1: Go to the official website of Mumbai University atmuugadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for Mumbai University UG Admission’s first merit list.

Step 3: Key in the login credentials generated at the time of registration.

Step 4: Once done, hit submit and the admission merit list will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Check and download the merit list for further reference.

Mumbai University will be issuing a total of three merit lists for UG admissions. Applicants are advised to keep an eye on the official admission portal for the latest updates on Mumbai University UG Admissions 2024.
