The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has recently released a notification to recruit eligible candidates to get a job opportunity in the council. As per the official release, the candidates fulfilling the required eligibility criteria can apply for the walk-in interview at the mentioned address.

Vacancy

According to the Department of Education in Science and Mathematics (DESM) release, there are two vacant seats – System Analyst and Junior Project Fellow.

Eligibility Criteria

For the System Analyst post, the administration seeks candidates with a graduation degree in computer science, computer application, computer engineering, M. Sc. Maths/Statistics or B. Tech/ B.E in Computer Science/ IT, B.Sc. in Maths/ Statistics with minimum 55 per cent marks or equivalent grade from a recognised University/Institute.

Additionally, the candidates must hold a work experience of at least one year in case of postgraduate while two years of experience is required in case of graduation.

On the other hand, for the post of Junior Project Fellow, the applicants need to have a Master’s degree in Chemistry/Zoology/Botany/Life Sciences/Biotechnology or any related discipline with a minimum of 55 per cent marks for the general category.

Additionally, the candidate should also know computer applications and clear the National Eligibility Test (NET).

Meanwhile, the notification also outlines the maximum age limit to apply in the recruitment drive i.e., 40 years. The candidates belonging to the reserved category will be offered a significant relaxation.

Salary

As mentioned in the notification, the selected candidate for System Analyst will be offered Rs 30,000 per month as salary. For the Junior Project Fellow post, the candidates who have qualified for NET will be given Rs 25,000 per month, and the ones who have not qualified for NET will be given Rs 23,000.

How To Apply?

As per the notification, the eligible candidates are advised to visit the Board Room, First Floor, DESM, Janaki Ammal Khand, NCERT, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi on April 25 for the walk-in interview. On the given date, the interview will be conducted between 9 AM to 11 AM.
