Students demanded earlier this week that the test be postponed since several of them had been assigned to exam centres that were far from their home centres. Students appealed to the Supreme Court, asking for a postponement of the NEET-PG 2024 exam; however, the SC turned down the petition. The Supreme Court stated that it cannot endanger the careers of two and a half lakh students by postponing the exam for the sake of a few students.
