NID DAT Mains M.Des Admit Card 2024 Released at admissions.nid.edu

The National Institute of Design (NID) issued the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Mains 2024 Master of Design (M.Des.) admit card on February 22. Those who are preparing for the exam can now check and download their NID DAT Mains 2024 M.Des. hall ticket from the official website at admissions.nid.edu. To access their admit card, candidates will have to enter their email address and date of birth on the login window.

All appearing candidates need to bring their NID DAT Mains 2024 M.Des. admit card to the exam centre. Candidates who fail to produce/show their admit cards will be denied the opportunity to sit for the Mains examination.

According to the schedule, the NID DAT M.Des. Mains 2024 exam will be held programme-wise from March 4, 2024 to April 4, 2024. The exam will comprise a studio test as well as a personal round of interviews. The National Institute of Design declared the results for the M.Des DAT Preliminary exam on February 16 this year. Candidates were allowed to raise re-checking requests till February 18, 2024.

NID DAT Mains 2024 M.Des Admit Card: Steps To Download

Step 1: Go to the official website of NID at admissions.nid.edu

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the link that reads – “Click here to download M.Des. DAT Mains Admit Card 2024-25.”

Step 3: As a new page opens, enter the login credentials such as Email Address and Date of Birth. Then click on ‘Submit’.

Step 4: The NID DAT Mains 2024 M.Des. admit card will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Check all the details and download the hall ticket.

DAT is administered for admission to Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Master of Design (M.Des) programmes at NID campuses across the country.

NID DAT Mains 2024 M.Des: Exam Pattern

As part of the NID DAT Mains examination, candidates will have to sit for a studio test and then a personal interview.

The Studio Test for M.Des. admissions at NID consists of various sections with questions in various formats (such as hands-on drawing/sketching, hands-on model making, and group discussions). The NID DAT studio test will be for three hours.

The personal interview round for NID DAT M.Des. admissions will take place immediately after the studio test. The NID DAT final result 2024 will be prepared after taking into account the performance of candidates in the DAT prelims and mains exams. Candidates who pass the DAT mains exam will be able to participate in NID DAT 2024 counselling.
