The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) announced the results of Class 10 exam on May 29. Many students have made their way to the meritorious list including a student named Garima Trivedi from Santpur village, Sirohi district. She has become a topper in her district after securing 98.33 percent marks. Garima’s father Manish Trivedi is an accountant by profession and mother Santosh Trivedi is a homemaker. Manish has been on bed rest for a year due to an accident after falling from a bike about a year ago. The entire family was taking care of Manish and hoping for his speedy recovery. Amidst these tough circumstances, Garima’s academic accomplishment has made everyone delighted.
In a special conversation with Local 18, Garima said that she is studying in Santpur Government Higher Secondary School. Due to the 10th board exams, she used to study regularly for 1-2 hours, besides giving time for studies in the school and tuitions. In the exam time, she increased her studying hours to 5-6 hours. When asked about her future prospects, she said that she aspires to serve the country by joining the Indian Administrative Services. She aims to clear the class 12th exams by pursuing the science stream.
Garima also gives tips to her juniors who will attempt the class 10 exams in future. She said that they should leave no stone unturned to prepare for the examinations and not feel tensed or feared from them. According to her, the Board exams are easy, and the candidates just need to work hard to score high marks in academics.
Garima’s grandmother said that she had been highly interested and used to study daily with utmost concentration. She said that there was no need for anyone in the family to ask her to study. Garima credited her parents and teachers for this academic success. She has scored a 100 out of 100 in Maths, 99 marks in Hindi and Social Science. She has also secured 98 marks out of 100 in English and Sanskrit. Garima excelled in the board exams with a total of 590 marks out of 600.
