The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the exam dates for the SSC Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff & Havaldar posts 2024 on August 13, 2024. As per the official note, the examination will be conducted online from September 30 to November 14, 2024. The Commission will provide the SSC MTS 2024 application correction facility on August 16 and 17, 2024. Candidates are advised to check the official website ssc.gov.in regularly for the latest updates.
The Computer-Based Examination aims to fill a combined total of 9583 vacancies, comprising 6144 vacancies for MTS roles and 3439 for Havaldar positions. The application process for the examination started on June 24 and continued till July 27. The last date to apply online for the SSC MTS exam 2024 was August 3, 2024. Meanwhile, the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 tier 1 examination will be held from September 9 to September 26.
Once released, the candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official website. A direct link will be provided on the website for the same. Candidates will need to enter their registration number and password.
SSC MTS, Havaldar 2024 Exam Pattern
The MTS exam consists of two papers. The duration of the examination for paper 1 is 90 minutes (120 minutes for candidates eligible for scribes) and the total marks for the paper is 150. There are 4 subjects namely Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Aptitude, and General Awareness included in the paper.
For the Havaldar examination, there is a physical efficiency test to assess fitness which includes running and cycling.
SSC MTS, Havaldar 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed their class 10 examination or equivalent examination from a recognised board. Typically, the candidates must be of the age of 18 to 25 years with certain posts allowing up to 27 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.
SSC MTS Havaldar 2024 Application Fee
The application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs 100. Women/SC/ST/PwD and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
