The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) announced the WB Board HS Class 12 Result 2024 at a press conference yesterday at 1 pm. Students who appeared in the exam can check the results on the official websites wbchse.wb.gov.in or wbresults.nic.in. A student named Ankit Pal secured fifth rank. He is a student at Kenduadihi High School in Bankura. Ankit loves poetry and considers author Rabindranath Tagore as his inspiration. Ankit Pal stood fifth rank in West Bengal with 492 marks. Ankit’s father Rathin Kumar Pal is a teacher at Pratappur Primary School. Rathin Kumar said that he saw his son Ankit writing a poem even at 12 am at night. He shared that Ankit wants to become a doctor in future and serve the people.
Ankit’s parents are happy for his success. From listening to music, singing to playing cricket, Ankit loves it all. His special passion is writing poetry and he can write page after page of poetry in his mind itself. Ankit’s parents said that their child has been good at studies since childhood. In Madhyamik too, he has scored striking results (678).
A total of 7,55,324 candidates appeared in the examination. Ninety percent of the students who had appeared in the West Bengal Higher Secondary Examination passed, with Avik Das of McWilliam Higher Secondary School, Alipurduar, topping the merit list.
