Isha Malviya reflected on her Dussehra memories with her family.

The festival of good over evil, Dussehra is right here, kicking off the festive season. As we celebrate this holy day, actress Isha Malviya, who is popularly known for making waves owing to her power-packed stint in Bigg Boss 17, also shared some heartfelt reflections on the significance of this festival, which has shaped her values and memories throughout her life.

Talking about her childhood memories of the festival, Isha fondly recalls, “Dussehra holds many memories for me. During my time in my hometown of Narmadapuram, my father would take me to a well-known ground to watch the Ravan Dahan. We would eagerly anticipate this event and enjoy the festivities together.”

In her family, Dussehra is marked by several beloved traditions. “We have personal rituals that we follow each year. Throughout the day, we perform poojas, continuing until around seven or eight in the evening. As night approaches, we start packing up our things in preparation for the celebrations,” she shares.

Furthermore, she adds, “Since moving to Bombay and pursuing my career in the industry, my family has expressed how much they miss me during Dussehra. For the past four or five years, my family has often told me over video calls how much they miss celebrating together. I miss those moments too.”

When asked how Dussehra’s message of good over evil resonates with her, Isha stated, “The message of Dussehra good over evil resonates deeply with me. I have a simple rule for my life: if you are right in your beliefs and actions, no amount of negativity or opposition can make you feel wrong. Standing firm in your convictions ensures that no one can undermine you. Always believe in yourself, and choose a path that leads to positivity and growth.”

As Dussehra unfolds, Isha Malviya continues to embrace the spirit of the festival, celebrating both her roots and the universal message of hope and resilience it represents. She also wishes a happy Dussehra to her fans across the country.
