Arsene Wenger is not ready let go his pursuit of Liverpool striker Luis Suarez and as per media reports, Arsenal are set to make a £40million bid for the Uruguayan for a make or break deal.

The www.mirror.co.in reported that Wenger has identified Suarez as his No.1 target and Arsenal are determined to show they mean business by testing Liverpool's resolve and their transfer clause.

Earlier, we had reported that The Reds manager Brendan Rogers believes that Suarez belongs to the top group of players and have hence increased the striker's price to £55million. Rogers said, "When you consider Edinson Cavani has gone for £55m, Luis is up there in that bracket of top talent."

Rogers also explained that there is no surity whether Suarez would even be sold and their future plans involve the 28-year-old "There's no guarantee Luis would be sold even for that because we are trying to build something - we don't have to sell "We're prepared to spend and get people in without having to sell him."
