The match kicks off in ten minutes. Stay tuned.
6:50pm: Only two changes for Mumbai City FC. Player-cum-Manager Nicolas Anelka replaces Frederic Piquionne. The number 9 has not been at his best so far and probably needs some much needed rest. Cristian Bustos also sits out for this one, Juan Aguilera comes in his place.
Atletico de Kolkata Playing XI
Amrinder (GK), Denzil Franco, Augustin Fernandes, Tiri, Nabi, Ofentse Nato, Borja Fernandez (C), Jewel Raja, Jaime Gavilan, Sameehg Doutie, Iain Hume.
Mumbai City FC Playing XI
Subrata Paul (GK), Ashutosh, Pavel Cmovs, Darren O'Dea, Lalchhuanmawia Fanai, Frantz Bertin, Juan Aguilera, Singam Subash, Sunil Chhetri, Sony Norde, Nicolas Anelka (C).
6:40pm: Sunil Chhetri has single-handedly taken Mumbai into the top half of the table. After his first match against Chennaiyin FC, the Indian skipper has scored a goal in every 45 minutes with a shot accuracy of nearly 89% and a conversion rate of 66.66%. Furthermore, he has already surpassed Jeje’s record of the highest goals scored by an Indian in a single ISL season by scoring 6 goals: Jeje managed just 4 goals in ISL season 1. The task is simple for ATK, stop Chhetri to stop Mumbai City FC.
6:35pm: Both teams met twice last season in the league stages. ATK hosted MCFC in the first ever ISL match and humbled the visitors with a 3-0 victory. However, Mumbai City FC did avenge the defeat with a victory of their own at the DY Patil Stadium. History says that the home team in this fixture, wins. Can Habas and his men stop the hosts from winning their fourth match on the trot?
Upbeat Mumbai City FC would be seeking to notch up a fourth win on-the-trot when they take on defending champions Atletico de Kolkata in the Indian Super League clash on Sunday.
The hosts are at fourth place with ten points while the title holders are struggling to keep afloat and are sixth with seven points.
Nobody would have guessed that ATK would have had such a poor start to their title defense, it sees them sit 6th on the table and three points behind their opponents.
