Chelsea preparing to make a bid on Sami Khedira

According to a report in football website, footylatest.com, Chelsea are making and audacious move to get the Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira.

The 26-year old German midfielder has established himself as a regular first team starter at Real Madrid and was ever present under Jose Mourinho last season.

The reports in media also suggests that Madrid may look to replace Khedira with Sevilla midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.

However, Jose Mourinho has gone on record to say that the only player he really wants is Wayne Rooney and given the strength of Chelsea's midfield, one finds it hard to see where Khedira would actually fit in and who will go out if he does come in.
