Real Madrid name Carlo Ancelotti as their new coach
Madrid announced former PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti as their new manager on a 3-year contract replacing Jose Mourinho.

Carlo Ancelotti has on Tuesday been confirmed as the new boss of Spanish giants Real Madrid. Ancelotti, 53, will replace Jose Mourinho at the Bernabeu after walking away from Paris Saint-Germain.

Last season, the former Chelsea boss had guided PSG to their first French title in 19 years. Ancelotti will now take the reigns at Real after agreeing a three-year deal to take charge of the Los Blancos. Meanwhile, French champions have also announced Laurent Blanc as their new manager.

The nine-times European champions are also on the verge of signing Spanish wonderkid Isco. Spain's Under-21 playmaker has been the target Real and Manchester City after an impressive couple of seasons with Malaga during which they reached the Champions League quarter-finals last season.

"Isco is one of the great players of Spain and the club's technical staff believe he has the quality to play for Madrid," Real Madrid President Perez said. Spanish media have reported Real have agreed a deal that could rise to 30 million euros for Isco.
