Premier league clubs Chelsea and Swansea City have shown interest in signing Vitessse Arnhem's Wilfried Bony, reports The Guardian.

According to reports, Swansea are keen on landing the Ivory Coast striker for a £10.2m deal which has got Bony quite pumped up. Chelsea, on the other hand have also been on close terms with the 24-year-old, due to strong relationships between owners Roman Abramovich and Merab Jordania.

However, the dutch club have denied any interest from EPL clubs including both Swansea and Chelsea. The report also suggest that Vitesse Arnhem have arranged for a tempting offer themselves and are waiting for Bony to give his verdict.

Bony, who has 31 goals in his tally from 30 appearances, said "The clubs are now talking. Swansea is a wonderful club that plays attractive football.

It's my chance to play in the Premier League. I understand from my agent Swansea have €12m. That's the amount Vitesse wants. I hope there is some good news soon."
